"...Tests have been run on the initial run of subjects for the project. We shall continue to test throughout the week. The situation is highly plausible at this juncture, and it is our hope to re-establish the valiant efforts of our predecessors in this endeavor. The government has been extremely helpful, as, strangely enough, has Mr. Stone. Funny, I would have thought he would have been at least a little hesitant. Evidently not where the government is concerned. I shall continue monitoring the gene tests as the volunteers continue in their cycles."

"The project is going exactly as planned. With the various chemicals, we employ to the subjects we are finally able to bring forth one of our 'sons.' The first of our future soldiers is as I record this being bathed in the genetic serum and subjected to various techniques, various degrees of pain as well as therapy. We do not wish it to be too painful for the child. Stone and the government tell us the pain is necessary but we disagree. We do not wish to harm these creatures. More at the next report."

"The selective breeding has reached a high and we are in the middle of the most crucial part of the experiment. The animal bonding which we had learned from the Firehearts of New Mexico has helped tremendously in our understanding of what we need to do with the subjects. It has increased the efficiency of our serums and radiation treatments tremendously. Neither Stone nor the government knows about what we are doing and it is hoped it shall be kept that way or else the project will be scrapped. I am dead set against this and will work to complete the series of tests at any cost."

"The final count of test subjects totals out at forty-three and all of them are undergoing the treatment. The earlier ones are experiencing slight changes in physiognomy and anatomical structure, becoming slightly stronger, but not nearly as strong as they need to be. It is foreseen that this project may be undertaken by Alchemax for years to come while we try to come up with a way to accelerate the growth of the subjects as well as control their other developing characteristics. Although the subjects are strong and are even able to walk, the majority of their abilities will not manifest themselves until at least a maturity of ten or possibly more years. Ten years! The government will surely have the department's heads! But what measures can I take? I cannot keep this development a secret forever. I will go on as scheduled with the growth and development of hormones and drugs, as well as the batch of bacteria and viral cultures, in the next three weeks."

"The subjects must now be fed fresh meat every day, and frankly they seem to be growing tired of it. However, the viral cultures and bacteria are being absorbed by the subjects, causing them to develop even further, resisting even the strongest strains of these diseases. Development is surprising. And still, we are nowhere near being found out!"

"I am afraid that something has gone hideously wrong. Now the subjects are almost trained to the cycles of the moon. Their strength increases and decreases as the various phases of the moon occur as well as the passing of daylight. Their strength especially faded at the recent eclipse. Should this have something to do with the different chemicals, or even the viruses and bacteria? Or is it something more? Can it be anything similar to Michael Morbius's condition? Am I creating things that are just not human? And they will not eat meat anymore. They sit and stare at all of us in the lab, them in their cages, and we at our desks. Should I even attempt a cure? I feel so sorry for these creatures but at the same time am frightened by them. What can I do? My superiors shall surely find out sooner or later...!"

"...I can't believe it. The subjects were put to routine testing and they lashed out. They really are perfect soldiers. Maybe not perfect soldiers, but perfect monsters. How will they be controlled? They are only a few months old and already they are without conscience and unremorseful toward whatever activity they do. Shock, they killed a few of my assistants, tearing into them like cannibals. It was too disgusting to describe. I had to close the entire lab and sedate all the subjects. I wanted to put them all to sleep permanently, but God help me, I just couldn't. Now the rumors will run rampant and I will be exposed. I will be out of a job shortly. The creatures are all asleep, yet not dead. What can I do to correct my hideous miscalculations? I do not really care about Alchemax, all I care about are my creations. They are sick, and I must cure them. What can be done? What?"

"I only have time to write this. Someone must continue my experiments. Tyler Stone has found out what I have done, and his agents are on their way to see me and eliminate my failure, and ultimately me. The government will surely send someone out as well. Someone has informed me of this, and though I know not whom, I thank them here and pray that someone carries on the legacy left... by Dr. Michael Morbius. Oh Shock, they're at the door! Oh no! (muffled fighting and noise) What are you doing---? I said, WHAT THE SHOCK ARE YOU---"
